MRI Clinical Practice:
Clinical Supervision is conducted by Dan Lobo and Bill Leon, only available at:
1) South Florida Diagnostic Imaging of Kendall 11801 SW 90 Street Suite 102 Miami, Fl. 33186 (Phone: 305/728-2353)
2) Dadeland MRI & CT 7867 N. Kendall Drive Suite 120 Miami, Fl. 33156 (Phone: 305/318-6311)
This course is designed to introduce the student to the clinical application of all didactic courses. It is scheduled at the convenience of the student with days, evenings and weekend hours available for a total of
3 weeks of Clinical Practice (mandatory 18 days including 3 Saturdays)
. It will permit the student to develop the necessary skills to produce quality MRI images. Focus on equipment manipulation, MRI procedures, patient care and MRI protocols will be emphasized. All eligible students must demonstrate clinical experience requirements with documentation to establish eligibility for the ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging Examination.
Course Duration:
3 weeks of Clinical Practice (mandatory 18 days including 3 Saturdays)
. HRS/AHRA/ARRT 24 CE category A credits
Professional Liability/Malpractice Insurance for Clinical Practice (This must be through MRI Education Group)
to attend Clinical Practice is included.

A: Yes, the schedule is designed to be convenient for students. We offer day, evening, and weekend hours. The training is a total of three weeks, which includes 18 mandatory days of practice.
Q: What skills will I learn during the clinical practice?
A: The course is designed to provide you with the real-world skills needed to be a successful MRI Technologist. You will focus on equipment manipulation, patient care, MRI procedures, and scanning protocols under the direct supervision of our expert instructors.
Q: Does this training meet ARRT certification requirements?
A: Absolutely. This course is specifically designed to help students demonstrate and document the clinical experience required to establish eligibility for the ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging Examination.
Q: Will I earn Continuing Education (CE) credits?
A: Yes, upon successful completion of the clinical practice, you will earn
24 HRS/AHRA/ARRT Category A credits

A: No, professional liability and malpractice insurance for your time in the clinical practice is included with your tuition and provided through the MRI Education Group.
